Looking after your real Christmas tree

Our real Christmas trees are freshly cut Nordmans fir trees which will hold their needles until after Christmas if you follow these instructions:

1. On delivery, remove your tree from its net and stand it outside until you are ready to set it up. If possible, cut an inch from the tree's base when you set it up to maximise water take-up.
2. Use a water-holding Christmas tree stand (you can buy one from us if you don’t already have one).
3. You'll be surprised how much water your tree takes up so remember to keep it watered at all times
4. Keep your tree away from radiators and other direct sources of heat.
